JIM KUDEK'S GARLIC MENU: MONCHES FARM OPEN HOUSE
DECEMBER 4 – 6,  2015

1. German Red: Spicy and hot. Good with chili and stews and related dishes.

2. German White: Smooth flavor when cooked with a hint of spice and moderate heat. All - purpose variety for baking/roasting. Good when pre-cooked with mushrooms and topped on grilled meat. Good storage quality.

3. Italian Red: A mild soft neck variety which is good with pasta dishes, soups and broiled seafood.

4. Italian Purple Stripe. Spicy flavor which compliments pasta dishes and casseroles. Very good broiled with steak. Semi hot. Stores well.

5. The “Bargain Bin”: Assorted small bulbs of various hard neck garlic varieties. All purpose.
