Hard, thick dark green skin. Yellow flesh bakes beautifully. Good Keeper. Very popular.

A truly beautiful gourd with a classic apple shape. Great for gourd craft.

BIRDHOUSE
Hourglass shape is perfect for creating natural hanging birdhouses. Simply dry over winter & drill in spring. Can also be painted or varnished once dry.

BLUE HUBBARD
Unusual shape, large size and unique silvery-blue skin make this a great choice for decorating. Fine grained flesh is rather bland and gives best flavor when baked and then mashed with spices or brown sugar to enhance sweetness.

Shaped like Cinderella's "pumpkin" carriage, this is a favorite with children for autumn decorating. A French heirloom variety introduced in the United States in 1883.

DELICATA
Lemon yellow skin with forest-green vertical stripes. Fine grained flesh is among the sweetest of table squashes. Heirloom variety introduced in 1894.

A modern day 'Cinderella' - shaped just like the magic carriage. Smooth skin in dark green to tan and deeply ribbed.

Flat wheel-like shape with creamy white skin. Deep orange colored flesh is very dry & firm with sweet flavor.

A rare New Zealand heirloom squash renowned for its supremely rich nutty flavor.

KNUCKLEHEAD
Like its little brother, "Goosebumps", this one also bears large, solid wart-like growths that make it scary without any carving.

A Long Island heirloom named for its resemblance to a wheel of cheese. Smooth buff colored skin and moderately sweet orange flesh. Excellent in pies.
