BEAN
SCARLET RUNNER

Grow as an ornamental or as a vegetable. Showy red flowers produce green pods filled with red beans. Pole habit. Heirloom recorded as early as 1750.

CABBAGE
COUER de BOEUF des VERTUS
French Bull-Heart type bears tall, pointed green heads. Early & tender. Heirloom, early 1800's.
MAMMOTH RED ROCK
Large deep red heads. Good flavor & color. Heirloom, circa 1889.
PERFECTION DRUMHEAD SAVOY
Finely crinkled laves are mild & sweet. Excellent keeper. Heirloom, circa 1888.
CELERIAC ROOT
GIANT PRAGUE
"Turnip Rooted Celery". Softball sized knobby root forms at root level. Rich sweet flavor is mix or celery &b parsley. Use in soups, stews & salads.
CUCUMBER

A vigorous grower with strong tendrils. Excellent for vertical gardening or trellises. Heirloom introduced in 1892.

A rare Asian variety with long slender dark green fruit with few seeds.

Straight blocky dark green fruit. Vigorous. Resistant to mosaic virus & spot rot.

ASWAD
Very large teardrop shaped purple-black fruit, up to 3 pounds. Sweet tender flesh is perfect for baking or grilling. Heavy producer. Heat tolerant.
EDIRNE PURPLE STRIPED
Lustrous 6"-8" long fruit richly striped with purple & cream. Heirloom Turkish variety (1948).
FLORIDA HIGH BUSH
Large purple-black pear shaped fruit on vigorous upright well branched plants. Disease & drought resistant. Bred for the commercial trade.
ROSA BIANCA
An Italian heirloom variety with plump teardrop shaped fruit that changes color in delicate shades of rosy lavender to white as it matures . Pretty!
ROSITA
Stunning pinkish-lavender 6" long fruit. White, sweet flesh. Brought from Puerto Rico in 1979.
TURKISH ORANGE
3" Round fruit best harvested when green to light orange. Strong, rich flavor. Turkish heirloom variety.
UDMALBET  
Teardrop shaped striped fruit is vibrant lavender & yellow. Best eaten when small. Heavy producer. Originally from India.

GIANT CAPE GOOSEBERY

ANAHEIM
A moderately hot pepper that has been cultivated for over 300 years. Traditionally used for green chili rellenos. Flavor becomes more complex & sweeter as it ripens.
ALMA PAPRIKA
Compact plants bear apple shaped thick walled fruit that matures from cream to orange to red. A "sweet" Hot Pepper. Dried & ground to make Paprika.
BEAVER DAM
Mildly hot 8" long tapered fruit. Flavorful when cooked.
BIANCA
Blocky medium sized sweet bell pepper with ivory skin that matures to scarlet.
BLACK PEARL
A spectacular ornamental pepper with clusters of glossy black fruit resembling large pearls. Matures to deep red. Grown ornamentally but can be eaten. Extremely hot pungent flavor.
BURAN
Extremely sweet Polish heirloom variety. Medium sized 4" fruit equally sweet when green or red.
CHERVENA CHUSHKA
 Tapered fruit is 2" at shoulder and 6" long. Extremely sweet flavor. Bulgarian heirloom prized as a roasting pepper. Grown from Organic Seed.
CORNO DI TORO
Extra large sweet stuffing pepper. Long curved fruit matures red or yellow. Tasty served fresh, roasted or stuffed.
HABANERO RED
(aka 'LUCIFER'S DREAM'!) The hottest of them all. Use fresh or dried. Handle with care!
KING OF THE NORTH
Extra large fruit (6" long, 4" wide). Great for stuffing. 65 days.
