Nancy's Picks
Nancy, a retired university professor, has been with the Farm for over 25 years and has been instrumental in the growth of the nursery side of the business. Nancy is a tireless worker and a wealth of plant knowledge. Her special interest and expertise is with native prairie plants and Hosta. Nancy has strong opinions about plants and doesn't hesitate to voice them. This candor has gained her a loyal following of customers who won't take a plant home without Nancy's "OK"!
Nancy joins our staff on weekends to assist visitors with plant selection. For those of you who might not be able to get to the Farm when Nancy is here but still want to benefit from her vast and valued plant knowledge we have indicated her favorite plants in our catalog and on our signage as NANCY'S PICK plants. You can be confident that you will be happy with the performance of any and all Nancy's Pick plants!
Nancy has also agreed give us a list of her favorite perennials, by season.
