Another Great Tree Lost

The severe storms of June 16th & 17th, 2014 brought heavy rain and destructive winds. It was too much for our remaining Elder Tree to bear and its heavy limbs gave way to the gale force winds. This old beauty was actually on record as one of Wisconsin's "Champion Trees " , having been officially documented in 2008 by the DNR as the largest Boxelder (Acer negundo) in the State of Wisconsin.
