Blooming Today (June 22, 2015) : Circle Flower (Lysimachia punctata)
Lysimachia punctata, “Circle Flower”, lives up to its name by producing whorls of bright yellow flowers that encircle the stem in abundance in June. It forms a dense colony of upright stems that increases enthusiastically in moist humus-rich soil and more slowly in dry sites. It is a showy plant that is easy to grow and long lived. Prefers partial shade but will tolerate full sun.
USDA Hardiness Zones 4-8.
