This is the longest blooming perennial for the shade garden that we know of. Its dainty clusters of yellow flowers are borne over a neat mound of lacy emerald colored foliage from June until frost, even in deep shade. It will thrive in even the harshest of conditions once established and will self sow freely to colonize shaded corners of the garden. Despite its rugged constitution in the garden it does not appreciate pot culture so container specimens are not always beautiful. Once transferred to the garden, however, these plants will readily establish themselves as long blooming stalwart performers. Hardy to Zone 5.
